Since acquiring my iPhone5, one of the things I have missed more than anything is being able to tether my cellular connection with other devices for free. With no jailbreak, my only option for tethering is to pay Verizon another $30/month for data that I am already paying for. AT&T May Be Cracking Down on MyWi Internet Tethering
ModMyi have claimed to have had tips from users saying they are receiving notices fro AT&T regarding tethering. These users have been using MyWi for tethering, and are grandfathered into AT&T’s old unlimited iPhone data plan.
UPDATE: Based on the comments ModMyi have been receiving on their announcement, It now looks as though AT&T are basing these messages solely on users with high usage. As it turns out, MyWi shows up as 0 tethered bytes:

Hopefully you guys didn’t shell out the $20 for MyWi like I did already. Don’t get me wrong, MyWi is a great app and the price is equal to one month of tethering through AT&T so it’s definitely worth it. HOWEVER, a new app has recently been released that is even BETTER and it’s cheaper to boot. This app, unlike MyWi, also enables Bluetooth tethering instead of just USB tethering.
