iPhone 5 ScreenExtender tweak forces all apps to use full screen
With the iPhone 5 having a larger screen size than it’s predecessors, there are still plenty of apps out there which have not been updated to accomodate the larger size of the screen. A new iPhone 5 ScreenExtender tweak has been released to solve just that issue. All you have to do is download the free app from Cydia and it will force any of your older apps to fill the screen, even if they were not natively designed to do so. AnyRing ringtone customization app makes it’s way to the official App Store!
AnyRing, an all time favorite Cydia tweak of mine, has made it’s way to the official iTunes App Store. AnyRing allows you to create customized ringtones from your iPod library or even from a YouTube video. DreamJB Confirmed Fake [Unfortunately]
We posted earlier today about a skeptical but possible untethered jailbreak for all iOS 6 iDevices, including the iPhone 5, iPad Mini + others. Hey everyone! Sorry it’s been so long since my last post, these past few months of school have been pretty crazy and I haven’t had much free time. The iPhone5 has already been jailbroken by chpwn!
Well, this morning the new Apple iPhone 5 went on sale and not even 24 hours later, @chpwn has already managed to jailbreak his! Of course A4 and lower devices can already jailbreak on iOS6, but A5 and A5X devices such as the iPhone4S, iPad3 and now iPhone5 are not susceptible to the limera1n exploit which allows for the tethered iOS6 jailbreak. This means that chpwn has found a new exploit, likely in the iOS6 firmware, which has enabled him to jailbreak the iPhone5.

iOS6 features and changes scheduled for release this fall
Today at WWDC, the largely anticipated announcement of iOS6, the newest mobile operating system from Apple, was announced. iOS6 is scheduled for release this Fall, but iOS6 beta 1 downloads are already live for Apple Developers if you can’t wait to check it out. iOS6 brings a slew of new features such as improved Maps and Siri functionality, changes to iCloud and Safari and new Facebook and Twitter integration. It is compatible with the iPhone 3Gs, 4 and 4S, iPod 4G as well as iPad2/3.
