Today, the iPhone-Dev team released Redsn0w 0.9.13dev2 to fix issues with SSH after jailbreaking the iOS6 beta firmware. Users who used the beta tethered jailbreak had been experiencing issues where they were not able to connect via SSH after jailbreaking. This release will fix those issues. Please note that this update does not add support for iOS6 beta 2, so if you want to jailbreak iOS6 beta 2 you will still need to point Redsn0w at a beta 1 firmware.
The Pwn Dev Team has released a major update to their jailbreak tool, Ac1dSn0w. The tool was made available to the world a couple of weeks ago as an alternative to other apps for jailbreaking, like RedSn0w and PwnageTool.
The Pwn Dev Team have said this beta updated fixes copyright infringement issues that the original beta had. The download file size has also been greatly reduced from over 100MB to closer to 10MB.
