AnyRing, an all time favorite Cydia tweak of mine, has made it's way to the official iTunes App Store. AnyRing allows you to create customized ringtones from your iPod library or even from a YouTube video. If that wasn't enough, there is even a search feature that allows you to search through 4 million free ringtones including the latest Billboard hits!
Since I have an iPhone5 now, I was quite pleased to wake up this morning to an e-mail from @hAcx announcing the iTunes version of AnyRing. Of course, there are a few features that had to be removed …
I was recently given the opportunity to test a great dictation application called Voice Assistant by QuanticApps. I have used my fair share of voice recognition apps, including Siri of course. Since I had never heard of this application before, I was skeptical as to how accurate it would be. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is extremely accurate, more-so than other applications I have used, such as Dragon. I spoke 3 paragraphs and there wasn't a single error, even when I was talking fast to try and trip it up. Not only that, but it boasts …
Learn about every part of Intelliborn's upcoming IntelliScreenX.
Approximately a week ago, ModMyi reported that Intelliborn, famous for applications such as My3G, Tlert, Intelliscreen, and others, demoed their new upcoming Notification Center application IntelliScreenX. The video they provided gave us an inside look to what IntelliScreenX has to offer; and from what we've seen, it's for sure a full-fledged application. Although the video was informative to a great extent, there's nothing better than getting a component-by-component low down on an upcoming application with screenshots, explanations, and the whole shebang.
Courtesy of the Intelliborn team, we're privileged to be one of …

Intelliborn, the popular jailbreak developer company who has brought us such Cydia apps as MyWi, My3G and Elert among many others has been developing a great new application that is set to hit the Cydia store right around the release of iOS5. IntelliID is a CallerID application that will fetch a caller's name immediately upon them calling. The application will pull names both for landlines and mobile phones. Never again will you have to wonder who is calling you from that unknown number.
IntelliID pulls names from a US/Canada calling database. Because of this it seems as though it will …
Windows users will be happy to learn that there is a new Windows Media Player addon from Thomas Pleasance which allows you to seamlessly integrate streaming capabilities from your iOS device to Windows Media Center. Team CocoaNuts, the ones who brought us such 3rd party apps as YourTube, Safari Download Manager and Attachment Saver have now released a new application called Celeste which will allow you to transfer files to or from your phone to any other bluetooth enabled device. If you own YourTube you will be able to sync your videos back to your computer via Bluetooth.
Celeste takes over where iBluenova left off. For those who are new to the scene, iBluenova was an application that had similar functions but it was for iOS 3.x and was never updated to support 4.x. …
SlothCam is an official iTunes app store application created by Jackson Myers. This is a webcam application unlike any other and is available for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Other webcam viewing applications that are available only allow you to browse pre-determined webcams that are bundled with the application. SlothCam is unique in that it allows you to add as many webcams as you want from anywhere in the world. SlothCam also comes bundled with some great webcams right out of the box, but the great thing about it is that you can add any webcam you …
So now after using our Greenpois0n RC5 tutorial, I have realized that I can no longer use "Make It Mine" to change the carrier logo on my iPhone as it is not supported beyond 4.1 Fortunately there is a solution. There is a similar application called Fake Operator which allows you to change your carrier logo from your iPhone settings instead of through an application the way MIM did.
First open Cydia and search for "Fake Operator" this is a package available from the default sources so no need to add a new source.
Now that you have …
