Olympic 2012 Medal for Notification Center – Keep up to date with Olympic results

We already told you about the free Live Stream of the 2012 Olympics on iOS devices, but now there is an even easier way to follow your country's 2012 Olympic standings! Olympic 2012 Medal for Notification Center is a new tweak in the Cydia store that will allow you to track the medal progress of your country directly from your . Unfortunately, this tweak will set you back $2.00, which we think is a little steep for a tweak that will only be useful for a few weeks, but if you are a die-hard Olympic follower and you're too busy to watch the streams, this is a very convenient and easy way to track your team's progress!

Once you have installed the , simply enable it in Notification Center settings by toggling it on and it will be added to your notification center. Vietnam is the country that is being tracked by default, to change it, simply click on the country name where you will be prompted to input 3 characters that represent your country's name and you can also choose what name you want to be displayed. To refresh the results, simply click on the flag icon on the far left.

At this point, it appears as though you can only display one country at a time, we hope to see them add the ability to display multiple countries at once.

Are you going to be using the notification center widget to track your country's progress? Let us know what you think of this tweak in the comments section below!

Hi David, SBSettings isn’t shown in the image above, if you are talking about the toggles, those are from the IntelliScreenX Quick Settings notification center widget.

This wasn’t tested very well. Works great until you get into double digits in the metal count, then the 10′s digit is the only one that gets displayed, so you don’t get a try medal count and the text is not centered.
Kinda pissed, $2.00 and it does not give correct info, and I doubt it will be fixed before the Olympics are over.
