If anyone can help, I had iOS 5.1.1 on my iPod, jailbroken with Absinthe 2.0.1 and have been trying to troubleshoot some battery issues that arose in the past few weeks.  I recently upgraded Rocky Racoon in Cydia and thought that maybe had something to do with it and thought that uninstalling the update (since it was part of the jailbreak anyway) would roll it back…well, I realized after I uninstalled it that it did more than roll it back, and my battery died before I could reinstall it.  Now I’m stuck at the Apple logo.  I have been on the road (away from my computer) and have photos and videos from 3 weeks in 3 continents and a bunch of 1st baby pics on here that were going to be backed up as soon as I got home tonight.  For this reason, I would rather not just opt for a restore without trying all other options.  Is there a way to perform a tethered boot from my current status?
