pod2g now has all 5.1 exploits and is working on bypassing ASLR

It's been a while since we've heard anything about the 5.1 jailbreak that many iDevice users are waiting for. The last time we updated the status of the , @pod2g said that he and the Chronic-Dev team were working hard on the jailbreak but they didn't have all the needed in order to release a jailbreak. He also stated that even with all the needed, they were still "weeks away" from being able to release anything.

released another update today that he now has all the exploits needed for the jailbreak. He is now working on bypassing ASLR (address space layout randomization) which was a measure implemented by Apple starting in iOS 4.3. We don't want to get your hopes up too much, because we are likely still "weeks away" from the jailbreak being released, but at least now we have some insight into the progress they have been making!
