Enable hidden auto-correct bar on your iPhone using Autocorrection Bar

It's amazing how many features are already available on our iPhones but are disabled in the system settings. Earlier this week we told you about Firebreak, a tweak to enable panorama mode on your stock camera application. Now, another hidden feature has been discovered, an autocorrection bar. One of the most annoying things about the iOS auto-correction is that it automatically substitutes the most likely word for you(which is rarely the word you were shooting for).

Autocorrection Bar adds a bar to your iOS keyboard that will display a few different results for auto-correct so that you can actually select the word that you meant to type instead of having your phone choose for you.

This is a feature that is built right into the iOS5 firmware, all you have to do is enable it. With Autocorrection Bar from Cydia, it doesn't get any easier, just search and install the tweak and when you respring you will have the correction bar!

Hi, after reading this post I had installed this tweak onto my iPhone via Cydia. Today, I decided I wanted to get rid of the tweak, and so I did, I went to my packages and removed this tweak. After respringing, the tweak was still enabled. Anything I should do? Please help!

Is there a way to disable the next function and only select word manually if i really want to change it? Have to click confirm everytime is really annoying… and when i remove the packages the bar is still there and i can’t disable it

Reinstall it and disable it in settings

I discovered that if you disable it in settings, it still won’t take effect until you respring.
