Update to iOS5 preserving baseband using Redsn0w 0.9.9b5 (Video Tutorial)

Last night we released a tutorial for upgrading to iOS5 preserving baseband. Today, our very own iBrandon has been kind enough to create a video tutorial for it, in which he successfully upgraded to and remained on his 04.10.01 and was able to use his Ultra SIM no problem. Below you can see his video for restoring a custom iOS5 IPSW created with Redsn0w 0.9.9b5

    Useful video… could’ve been better, but at least it highlights a big step that’s not clear in a lot of the docs out there, i.e. that installing the custom IPSW doesn’t jailbreak the phone, you actually need to run redsn0w a second time and select jailbreak from the main screen and just install cydia.
