JailbreakMe 3.0 Now Live! JailbreakMe 3.0 Tutorial

The long anticipated JailbreakMe 3.0, aka Saffron Jailbreak, has now gone live. This is a userland jailbreak from @Comex that allows you jailbreak your iDevice directly from the device itself! Currently it is compatible with the following devices and firmwares:

  • iPad 1: 4.3 to 4.3.3
  • iPad 2: 4.3.3
  • iPhone 3GS: 4.3 to 4.3.3
  • iPhone 4: 4.3 to 4.3.3
  • iPhone 4 CDMA: 4.2.6 to 4.2.8
  • touch 3g: 4.3, 4.3.2, 4.3.3
  • iPod touch 4g: 4.3 to 4.3.3

This jailbreak couldn't get any easier. Simply visit http://jailbreakme.com from your iDevice(make sure you are using the Safari browser, this will not work with 3rd party browsers). After you have loaded the website, just follow these simple steps to jailbreak:

Step 1: Tap the “Free” icon.

Step 2: The “Free” icon will now change to an "install" icon. Tap the install icon.

Step 3: Cydia will now begin to automatically install to your dashboard.

Step 4: You're all done, Cydia should now be on your dashboard and you are jailbroken! Wasn't that easy!?

Comex has stated that he will be adding support for earlier firmware revisions(4.2.1) in the future.
