GVIntegrated incorporates Google Voice into the default phone application

gv

For those of you who are users of Google Voice, you are probably aware that in the early days, Apple was very reluctant about letting Google publish a GV application on their app store. Even though they finally decided to allow it, the current Google Voice application does not even pale in comparison to the integration of Google Voice into the native phone application that is available on Android phones.

This has all changed now due to a new Cydia …

iFaith version 1.2.1 released to fix bugs and add compatibility

ifaith

@ih8sn0w has released version 1.2.1 of his iFaith SHSH dumper tool. For those who don’t know, this tool will allow you to dump your SHSH for the firmware build you are currently running on your iDevice. This means that if you got an iPhone on 4.3.3(which Apple is no longer signing) you could still dump the 4.3.3 SHSH file to allow you to downgrade or restore 4.3.3 in the future if need be.

ipsw

Just days after the release of iOS 4.3.4/4.2.9, Apple has released another minor update 4.3.5/4.2.10. This update is a patch to fix a security vulnerability with certificate validation. i0n1c’s untether exploit was patched in 4.3.4/4.2.9 so like those firmwares, the only option to jailbreak 4.3.5 or jailbreak 4.2.10 is to use Redsn0w for an tethered jailbreak.…

jailbreka

It has been possible to do a tethered jailbreak of iOS 4.3.4/4.2.9 since they were first released, but I was holding off on making a post on it since most people had 4.3.3/4.2.8 and had their SHSH saved. However, over the past few days I have helped several of our readers jailbreak 4.3.4/4.2.9 so it seems as though we now have people coming in to the jailbreaking scene who’s devices came with 4.3.4 pre-installed so it seems like a good …
