GEVEY Ultra SIM Allows iPhone4 unlock on any baseband legally without dialing 112

It has been 3 months since we first announced the GEVEY SIM unlock method for iPhone4s running basebands which are not currently unlockable with via software. This method was very expensive when it first surfaced and also was in a gray area in terms of legality since it required the user to dial the 112 emergency number to initiate the . However, a new GEVEY Ultra SIM has been developed which allows you to permanently unlock your iPhone4 on ANY firmware, including iOS5 beta 1, however, Apple has blocked Gevey SIM unlock method in iOS5 beta 2+ It also works on all the current basebands(1.59, 2.10, 3.10.1, 4.10 and 4.10.1) WITHOUT dialing the emergency number, making this a legal and safe method to unlock your device.

The GEVEY Ultra SIM is availabe for purchase at AppleNBerry.com for a respectable $39.99 You will also need to have your device jailbroken for this to work since the Ultra uses a package.

Step 1: Remove your SIM card, by inserting a paper clip into the pinhole next to your SIM slot, and cut it to fit the tray that should come with the GEVEY package. Never cut into the circuitry.

Step 2: Launch Cydia and add the following repository: cydia..com. Then locate the "FuriousMod" package and install it. After that’s done, a "No SIM card installed" error will pop up, that’s OK. Before proceeding, make sure your phone is turned off.

Step 3: Place the GEVEY SIM on the tray, along with your own SIM on top of it. Make sure both cards are on the tray, then insert it back into your phone.

Step 4: Power your phone back on and wait around 40 seconds for your signal to be detected. Ignore any errors and don’t interact with the device until your phone picks up the signal.

Step 5: In order to get 3G, turn on Roaming Mode by going into Settings > General > Network and selecting "Data Roaming".

This method is not from MuscleNerd, Sherif or Comex. This is an upgraded version of the hardware unlock using a Gevey SIM card. The developers you mentioned have worked on software unlocks in the past but they have never been a part of the hardware unlock. Hope that answers your questions, sorry I could not respond in your native language, hopefully you can understand.

Correct, but this new Gevey Ultra SIM doesn’t require you to dial 112, so it is 100% legal now. Thanks!

    Hiii…
How can i unlock my iPhone 4 supporting firmware of 4.3.3 and baseband 04.10.01???
how can i factory unlock it???
    plzz help me out!!!!

    • http://iphoneblogr.com JaeM1llz

You cannot factory unlock it. A phone is either factory unlocked or it’s not. If you want to unlock on the 04.10.01 baseband you have to use the Gevey Ultra SIM like it says above.
