GeoHot now working for Facebook
If you've been wondering why George 'GeoHot' Hotz hasn't been saying much since his lawsuit with Sony ended, it may be because the young hacker is now working for the social networking giant, Facebook. Apparently, he has been working there since May. He posted this status update on his Facebook page earlier this week:

For any of you who saw the movie based on Mark Zuckerburg's story, 'The Social Network' you know that the "hackathons" that he is referring to is where a bunch of Facebook coders get together to compete over who can write code for new features the fastest(whether or not they are required to drink while coding like they did in the movie is beyond me).
On one hand, I am happy that George has finally found an outlet to share his genius and help make Facebook better, but at the same time, I can't help but think that this will take time away from him working on iPhone projects(such as an iPad2 jailbreak). What do you think?
For those of you who are skeptical of this news, I can assure you that this is legit. If you visit his Facebook profile you will notice that there is no way for you to request to be added as one of his friends(which is the case for most if not all Facebook employees including Mark Zuckerburg himself).
