Untether your Redsn0w tethered 4.2.7 jailbreak using pushfix package
For those of you who have followed our tethered 4.2.7 jailbreak tutorial with redsn0w 0.9.6rc14 and do not want to restore your firmware using the new sn0wbreeze 2.6.1 tutorial, there is a solution for you to untether your jailbreak via a Cydia package. @pushfix has released Verizon Untether for 4.2.7 on his Cydia repo. All you have to do is install this package if you've got a tethered 4.2.7 jailbreak currently.
For users who currently have a tethered 4.2.7 jailbreak via redsn0w
(by pointing to the 4.2.6 ipsw), I was able to contact my buddy @pushfix.
Hes managed to put together a Cydia package to untether your currently tethered
Verizon 4.2.7 phone.* Just add the Cydia repo: http://cydia.pushfix.info
* Install the Cydia Package "Verizon Untether for 4.2.7"
* Reboot.
* Enjoy.
