Redsn0w 0.9.6rc12 released fixes lingering issues with custom boot logos
Shortly after the dev team released Redsn0w 0.9.6rc10, to add custom bootlogos to their untethered jailbreak, they released a patch Redsn0w 0.9.6rc11. Even after that, it was apparent that there were issues getting custom boot logos to work using Redsn0w. The dev team has now released another patch Redsn0w 0.9.6rc12 which is said to fix any lingering issues.
If you have already used rc10 or rc11, you can just run rc12 right over the top of your current jailbreak. Just make sure to only select the option to enable custom boot logos and nothing else(make sure you uncheck "install cydia"). For those of you who are doing a fresh jailbreak you can check out our Redsn0w 0.9.6rc12 tutorial for a walktrhough.
