Mirror your iDevice on your TV with Display-Out and Resupported

    Hey guys, I just got my tv-out cable in the mail today so I decided to throw together a quick video demonstration. I am using a cable I bought off eBay for $7. You will also need Display-Out from the Cydia store which costs $2.99 this application will let you mirror the image from your device to your TV. If you bought a cheap 3rd party cable like me, you will also need another Cydia application called Resupported(or Resupported4 if you are on 4.x firmware) which costs $3.99 in the Cydia store. This application removes the software restriction that causes Display-Out not to work with any cable except for the $50 official Apple cable.

    Overall you are going to spend about $15 with the cable and the 2 Cydia apps which is a lot cheaper than the $50+ you would pay using the official Apple cable.

        I just bought the chepeast one I could find on eBay. I think I paid $5. Click here for some cables. Any cable will do as long as you use resupported to enable it.

      Hi there… I just bought displayout from cydia and now on a 10days trial for resupported4… The thing is my iphone is still not mirrored on my tv… Am i missing something here… Though the alert “device is not supported by iphone” is already gone and the audio works… Only no video… Im using iphone 3g with 4.2.1 please help…
