Possible Sn0wbreeze 2.0.1 Hacktivation problems [solved]

    We have received comments from viewers here at iPhoneBlogr and also seen messages to other webpages regarding issues with hacktivation on iPhones using the recently released Sn0wbreeze 2.0.1 from iH8sn0w.

      What is the diffence between iOS 4.1 beta and iOS 4.1? I am sorry, Iam kinda new to technical terms. And lastly what does it mean when you say of Tethered Or Untethered Jailbreak? Please help me on this so I can understand the stuff that I am reading.

      Hi Marvin, thanks for your questions.

      A beta firmware is a firmware Apple releases for users to test, to critique to and also to locate and glitches/bugs that may effect the firmware. Basically they release it as a test to make sure it working correctly. They then fix these problems and release the official firmware file for everyone to use.

      A tethered jailbreak means you cannot turn on the device without having to connect it to a computer. On the otherhand, Untethered means the device jailbreak is independent of a computer, you can turn the device on and off without having to connect it to a computer.

      Tethered bad, untethered good. Hope that helps
