Tonight, @TWiiPhone hosted an interview featuring a few members of the iPhone Dev Team. The members present were @ih8sn0w, @planetbeing, @comex and @chpwn. Despite the complete and utter lack of preparation by the TWiiPhone staff, one interesting little tidbit did emerge from the conversation towards the end. chpwn mentioned that he was frustrated about writing the javascript that detects which type of iDevice you are on. JailbreakMe.com immediately came to mind, the good old days where you could jailbreak your phone from a website without using a computer at all.

It appears as though new iPhone users might be able to experience what we got to experience way back in 2007 with a website jailbreak. Comex also mentioned that Saurik had to finish the bootstrapping process for Cydia so it could be a Safari exploit.
